The Unity Youth Development Programme

Our programme is designed to cultivate the next generation of high-performance coaches and leaders.

We select a small, promising group of Youth Apprentices who work directly alongside our head coaches. This is a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in performance coaching, race training, and crew management by actively teaching others.

For our core Youth Apprenticeship, we mentor a select group of exceptional youth sailors who will co-skipper a dedicated yacht. Their mission is to lead and coach a team composed of disadvantaged newcomers, enabling them to experience the incredible freedom and challenge of performance sailing. This role focuses on developing leadership and mentoring skills in a real-world, high-stakes environment.
