Specialising in doublehanded offshore, I am committed to developing and learning every time I sail. I am continually inspired by the people I sail with and being able to share knowledge and learn together is what makes it so enjoyable.

Drawing on a lifetime of yacht racing experience, I take real pleasure in passing on that knowledge—helping others discover the thrill, teamwork and deep connection with the sea, while encouraging every sailor to strive to be their best

2021 & 2022 DH World Champion
Mentored by and co-skippered with the world-renowned Dee Caffari and together they won the British Double Handed Offshore National Championships.

James is not holding back and is now on course and eyes on the Vendée Globe, racing on Gentoo, the awesome Imoca 60!
