About Unity Sailing
No egos.
Just sailing.
Unity Sailing exists to make competitive sailing accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone. Based at Mercury Yacht Harbour in Hamble, we run coaching, training, and racing programmes across the Solent and beyond.
Our Story
Unity — /ˈjuːnɪti/
The state of being joined together as a whole.
We started Unity Sailing with a simple belief: yacht racing should be for everyone. Too often, the sport can feel exclusive or intimidating. We wanted to change that.
Our approach is built on teamwork, empowerment, and a genuine love for sailing. Every person who steps aboard one of our boats is welcomed, supported, and given the chance to grow — regardless of their experience level.
From beginners stepping aboard for the first time to experienced racers chasing podium finishes, we create an environment where everyone can thrive.
