Cookie policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains how Unity Sailing LLP ("Unity Sailing", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on unitysailing.com.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and secure — for example, keeping you signed in to your account. They can't be switched off.

Name Purpose Duration
authjs.session-token Keeps you signed in to your account Session / up to 30 days
authjs.csrf-token Protects forms against cross-site request forgery Session
authjs.callback-url Returns you to the right page after signing in Session
unity_analytics_consent (local storage) Remembers your cookie choice Until cleared

Functional

These remember choices that make the site easier to use.

Name Purpose Duration
unity_club_ref Remembers the club page you visited, so the club is credited if you create an account 30 days
unity_src Remembers the partner or campaign link you arrived from, so we know how you found us 30 days
bookingResume:* (local storage) Keeps your booking selection if you pause to sign in 30 minutes

Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular and how people find us. These cookies are only set if you choose Accept. Until then, Google receives limited, cookieless signals that don't identify you.

Name Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes visitors 2 years
_ga_* Keeps track of the current visit 2 years

Google's use of this data is described in Google's privacy policy.

Third parties

When you pay online you're taken to Stripe, our payment provider, which sets its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Pages may also include content from other services (such as maps or videos), which may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Managing your choices

You can change your mind at any time using the Change cookie settings button on this page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings — blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as signing in, from working.
