We’re excited to announce our "Sunfast Training and Racing Days" for sailors keen to try out, train and familiarise themselves on a well spec’d performance racer.
These training days are ideal for all sailors along with skippers who would like to progress onto training and racing with their own team on a performance racer.
The Sunfast 3200 is an outstanding yacht, perfect for double handed to fully crewed racing. It's safe, fast and fun for both inshore and offshore racing.
What is covered on our training day(s)?
The days and experience runs over 1 or more days for those who would like to enjoy more time getting to know and train on a Sunfast. A two day course includes a night out and aboard with the crew.
Our pricing starts at £200 for a fully crewed training day of no more than 5 crew and 1 of our professional skippers or coaches. We also run training days with as little as 2 crew at a higher cost.

During these sessions we cover all the important drills you and your team will need when sailing and racing a Sunfast and to cover off any questions you might have. This provides you with the confidence to lead your team through these steps on a Sunfast.
Our standard drills covered are:
- Hoists, drops and sail changes
- Tacking and Gybing
- Using Asymmetric Spinnakers and Code Zero
- Upwind and Downwind sailing
- Trimming for points of sail
- Reefing under-sail
- Sail handling and packing
Starting from £200 per day or from £300 for a weekend

Whatever your level or requirements, we aim to provide you with the environment and experience that’ll help you progress most.
We will be running sessions for both mixed and all female crews to allow you to choose the environment that will most benefit your progression.
