Vision - Why Unity

Since discovering sailing in my childhood, I’ve always been keen to share my passion with mates and like-minded people which to me is the best kind of sailing. I love coaching and working closely with crew mates to improve performance, learn and grow together. For me, it’s all about having fun, learning and improving; with equality and teamwork being a primary goal that drives us.

In between a busy family life with four kids and a full time job, you’ll find me on the water as often as possible and I’ll take any opportunity to combine all these elements together! When I’m not sailing I’m skiing, biking, playing beach volleyball or swimming and love sharing my passions with family and friends. I love all things outdoors and I’m also an absolute sucker for a sunset with a cold beer!

The idea of Unity was born as we looked into options for access to a great performance racer for both training and racing, when you have limited availability due to life style. After years of sailing, coaching and introducing crew mates to the world of sailing; I am super proud that it has grown into a great venture that helps bring new friends together through the enjoyment of this awesome sport. We celebrate success, coach our crew and encourage everyone to empower each other through celebrating each other's achievements and growth.
